right next door to City Hall and Salmon's City Center on Main Street.

TRUSTEE ELECTION
PATRONS PLEASE VOTE!
The Salmon Public Library will be filling two Trustee
positions by an election to be held through Friday, November 6, 2009 at the
library, 204 Main Street. Each library cardholder over the age of 18 may vote
once. The term of Library Trustee Betty
Edwards will be available for a four-year term. Edwards retired from the
board. Amy Berasi, incumbent, is
running once again. The role of a
Trustee is to attend the monthly meeting and be responsible for the daily
operations and policies of the Salmon Public Library. The Board of Trustees consists of five volunteers, each serving
five-year terms.
The Ballot contains the names of the three individuals who
have declared their candidacy, Carol Hoopes-Bullock, MaryEllen Tunks and Amy
Berasi. There is a space as well for
any write in votes. A short bio of each
candidate is available at the library.
The candidate receiving the highest vote will secure the
five-year position and the second highest secures the four-year position.
Results of the election will be announced during the
Salmon Library Association's annual meeting Friday, November 13, 2009 at 5:00
p.m. at the Library. The public is
welcome to attend.
