The Salmon Public Library serves Lemhi County. We are located on the banks of the River of No Return near the bridge, right next door to City Hall and Salmon's City Center on Main Street.

"Cochin Hen"

Prints of the prize-winning acrylic painting, "COCHIN HEN" by Nancy Houver
are now available at the Salmon Library.
Each print is a limited edition, signed and numbered print and sells for $50.
All proceeds go to the Salmon Public Library
New Library Building Fund!

Senior Project - Sign Language Class offered at Library
To complete her senior project, Emma Guzman will be starting a sign language class.
The age group will be K - 5th grade.
Emma will be teaching beginning American Sign Language, will sign a book for the class and will assign simple signs for the kids to remember for the next class.
The classes will be Fridays from 12:30 - 1:00 starting October 10th and ending October 31st.
The classes will be held in the basement of the Salmon Public Library,  204 Main St.
We are hoping you are able to come!

Library Trustee Election

The Salmon Public Library will be filling a Trustee position through an election to be held October 27 to November 6 at the library, 204 Main Street. The voting period ends Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 P.M. One vote per Library Patron over the age of 18 is allowed.  Incumbent Amy Berasi has filed once again as a candidate.

The role of a Trustee is to attend monthly meetings and be responsible for the daily operations and policies of the Salmon Public Library.  The Board of Trustees consists of five volunteers, each serving five-year terms.

The Salmon Library is pleased to be able to provide our patrons with TumbleBooks, an online collection of interactive books for young children and also, DayByDayID.org, which delivers storytimes to children everday, plus more!

Parents:  Remember, our library requires
signed permission slips between parents &
children under 18 before computer use is permitted.
The agreement highlights our terms and conditions for your child's safety and well being.
Make sure your child has this Internet Use Agreement signed and on file so they can come in and do homework when they need to!



Concerning book requests.......As a courtesy to our patrons, we will hold books for 7 days, after which the book will pass to the next person for whom it is on hold.
