Our library's mission is to enhance the lives of our community members by providing access to information and promoting reading and literacy.

Welcome to Our Library

The Salmon Public Library serves Lemhi County.
We are located on the banks of the River of No Return
near the bridge,
right next door to City Hall and Salmon's City Center
on Main Street.

                                            ~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Salmon Public Library filled all the positions on
their Board of Trustees with an election held the end of October. Ninety-four
votes were cast during the election, 1 of which was a write-in vote.  Amy Berasi will be returning to the board
with 69 votes and Mary Ellen Tunks captured 51 votes and will fill the vacated
position of Betty Edwards.  Carol
Hoopes-Bullock received 40 votes in the election. The role of a Trustee is to
attend monthly meeting and be responsible for the daily operations and policies
of the Salmon Public Library.  The Board
of Trustees consists of five volunteers, each serving five-year terms. Tunks
joins the other Board Members, Jim Baker, Chairman, Janet McFarland,
Vice-Chair,
Ann Loucks Secretary and Amy Berasi.
